When Gina was reading a book, she heard her sisters shouting her name. Wondering what the loud noise was about, she looked out of the window and saw them standing under the mango tree in the garden, looking rather distressed. She ran abruptly out of the house and asked what had happened. They pointed up to the tree and when Gina looked up, she laughed, tickled pink at the sight of their mischievous little kitten, Snowball, sitting snugly on a branch. "Don't worry. He's safe," she assured her sisters. "He is just relaxing."

Dear Diary, Mum overslept this morning. I guess it was because she had finished replieing to her e-mails way past midnight last night. Feeling sorry for her, I decided to prepare a wholsom breakfast. With what I could find in the kitchen, I skrambeld four eggs, grilled two tomatoes and toasted some slices of bread. Knowing that Mum would apriciate a dose of caffeine, I made her a pot of piping-hot coffee. When Mum entered the kitchen, she was plesently surprised by my efforts. My heart swelled with joy as I had made Mum's day!

Mother was feeling unwell. Yet she attended the concert with Father.
