Florida and Maine are both states within the United States of America. Even though they are both located on the East Coast, Main and Florida are 1,500 miles apart. Mail carriers have a very busy schedule. First , they gather and sort the letters into trays. Next, they load all the letters and packages onto their mail truck. Finally, after all the loading is finished, they spend the rest of the day delivering the mail to the homes on their route.

When astronauts wear their spacesuits and helmets, they can't touch their faces. If an astronaut has an itch on their nose, they can't scratch it like the rest of us can down here on Earth. A creative astronaut on the famous Apollo mission figured out how to take care of those annoying itches. He taped a scratchy fabric inside his helmet. In the event of an itch, the astronaut could rub his nose against it for relief.

In 1963, Sterling North wrote a story about a pet raccoon. This story became extremely popular in Japan and was later made into a cartoon movie. This resulted in people wanting their own pet raccoon. So, thousands of raccoons were imported to Japan. Now, the country is overran by wild raccoons since they don't make for good pets.

Dressage or "horse dancing" is a special event that takes place during the Olympics. There are different variations of this event. One examples is when the horse rider does special steps and tricks. Dressage can also be performed with dancing music. This type of dressage looks like the horse rider is dancing with the horse as fun music plays in the background.
