When planning a session what is a learning aim?

What is a conditioned game?

• An adapted game.

• A really long game

• a game whee you watch and comment on what participants can do better.

How can you make your skill drills harder?

• Add in movement

• add in passive attackers / defenders

• add in active attacker / defenders

• Change the size of the space you are working in.

What are teaching points?

• Points that are made to make the skill more difficult.

• to help you understand the skill easier

• to get you to do the skill quicker.

• tips on how to make the skill technically correct.

Why is it good to add a progression into a drill / exercise?

• to stop participants getting bored.

• to give the more able students more challenge.

• to make the teacher look good when demonstrating.

• to show off your skills.

Why is it important to demonstrate a drill?

• to make the teacher look good.

• to make the participants look good

• to improve understanding of the participants.

• to waste some of the session time.

Why should you give feedback during a drill?

• to waste some time

• so you can stop the participant from making progress.

• So the participant knows what to do to improve.

How can you motivate your participants during your session?

• Pay them.

• give plenty of praise and feedback.

• promise them a chocolate bar.

• Just let the participants do what they want.
