What is the 1st Amendment?

• People get rights not listed in the Constitution

• Protection from cruel or unusual punishment

• Any rights not given to federal government are given to the states and people

What is the 3rd Amendment?

• No double Jeopardy or no witness against yourself

• 18 year old's get to vote

• The right to a jury trial in civil matters of $20 and over

• Citizens do not have to house soldiers

What is the 4th Amendment?

• No unreasonable search and seizure

• No excessive bail or cruel punishment

• Congress cannot accept a pay raise until next term

• If you are born or naturalized in the U.S. then you are a citizen of the U.S.

• Individual cannot use a state in federal court

• Right to bear arms

• No double jeopardy or no witness against yourself
