When there is a fire drill, we do all of the following except:

• Get in line quickly, quietly and walk to the set meeting point.

• Scream and yell and run outside to the meeting point.

• Remain quiet in order to hear instructions when drill is over.

When we have a duck and cover drill we do all of the following except:

• Sit with our backs to the wall with hands on our knees.

• Line up quickly, quietly and walk to the set meeting point.

• Face the wall, sit on your heels with knees facing the wall, bend down, put hands on back of head and touch head to wall.

• Remain extremely quiet in order to hear instructions.

When we have a soft lock down which do we not do?

• Stay calm, lock doors and continue class as usual.

• Stay calm, lock doors, turn off lights and hide quietly in a safe place.

When we have a hard lock down which do we not do?

• Stay calm, lock doors, turn off lights and hide quietly in a safe place.

• Stay calm, lock doors and continue class as usual.

In a fire emergency, which step should not be followed?

• Follow facility evacuation plans.

• Run through the halls shouting "Code Blue!".

• Know how to operate fire extinguishers.

• Keep areas uncluttered and free of debris.
