The Lion and the Mouse
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a lion was sleeping under a tree. Suddenly, a little mouse started running up and down the lion’s body. This woke the lion up. The lion caught the mouse and was about to eat him when the mouse pleaded, “Please don’t eat me, O King of the Jungle. If you spare my life, I will surely help you one day.” The lion laughed at the idea of a little mouse helping him but decided to let him go.
One day, the lion got trapped in a hunter’s net. He roared loudly, struggling to free himself. Hearing the lion’s roar, the mouse quickly ran to his rescue. The mouse gnawed at the ropes with his sharp teeth and set the lion free. The lion was very grateful and said, “Thank you, little mouse. You were right. Even a small friend can be a great help.”
What lesson can we learn from the story?…..
