What situation is considered ALERFA?

• Fail to arrive 5min to ETA after landing clearance has been issued, unlawful interference, no news after subsequent call

What defines the Alert Phase (ALERFA) of the alerting service?

• A situation where apprehension exists as the safety of the aircraft and its occupants

• A situation in which an aeroplane and passengers are known to be in grave and imminent danger

• A situation where it is certain that fuel is exhausted

• Information is received that the operating efficiency of the aircraft is impaired to the extent that a forced landing is likely

What situation is considered INCERFA?

• No communication with 30min, fail to arrive within 30min ETA

• Not responding atc call for 2 times

What situation is considered DETRSEFA?

• Further attempt of communication is unsuccessful, fuel onboard exhausted

• For precaution although managed to communicate

ADS-C is for:

• Automatically updating ATS unit of the airspace where the plane is operating

• Automatically updating operator base of the AOC holder

• Periodically updating the ATS unit of the destination aerodrome

• Periodically updating the ATS unit of the departure aerodrome

What is an AIRPROX?

• A situation in which, in the opinion of a pilot or air traffic services personnel, the distance between aircraft as well as their relative positions and speed have been such that the safety of the aircraft involved may have been compromised.

• Mitigation of busy air traffic area

When does ATC transfer control to the next controller?

• At the crossing point between two boundaries of control

• 5mins before (KDR)
