FFA Team Encouragement Judging Card Uses

Little Jimmy is discouraged after a Livestock Judging event because he placed near last.

How can you encourage him to continue?

• Show him that he was last because he did poorly in most areas

• Show him how far away he was from first place

• Show him that he is above average in several areas and should focus on improving the other areas

• Tell him that he shouldn't care about how he did and should focus on having fun

• Check every kids score in the contest to see if anyone thought the same way

• They probably just need more practice with steers and the next 5 practices should be only steers
