Balloon Popping Competition

I participated in a balloon popping competition for the National Independence Day celebration yesterday.

Before the competition started, a committee gave me a hat with a nail on top of it. Then, the committee also told the rules. First, all participants should cover our eyes and stand on the starting line. About 7 meters in front of the participants, the committee hung balloons filled with water. After that, we must walk to the hung balloon to pop it.

During the competition, I had some difficulties to find the balloon. After I finally found the balloon, I tried to jump several times to pop my balloon, Suddenly, I felt my clothes got wet. Afterwards, people clapped and mentioned my name. A committee came and removed the cloth covering my eyes.

In the end, I won first place in this fun competition. I was very happy because it was my first experience taking part in the competition.
