What do I do if I cannot do the work by myself?

My friend has 7 classes, but I only have 6. Am I supposed to have 7 too?

• Yes, all students must have the same number of classes.

• No, some students can only attend 1 day per week and can only fit in 6 classes unless they have Study Skills (which is done at home).

I heard breakfast and lunch are free, but where’s the cafeteria?

Why did the bell times change from last year to this year?

• We added an extra period this year to help students earn all the credits they need.

• We reduced the lunch break to fit more classes into the schedule.

How come I never seem to know what’s going on?

• I don't have time to check my emails.

Can I come more days than I am scheduled?

• Yes, you can come for extra help if you plan it with your teacher.

What if I want to participate in a Sport, Drama, or Cheerleading?

• You can only choose one activity to participate in.

How do I email my teachers?

• You can find their emails on the MUSD website under STAFF Furman High School.

Do I really have to work outside of class 4 hours a week in EVERY class?

• No, you don't have to work outside of class.

• Yes, you really do. And probably more in Math (hence Study Skills).

How do I get my PE credits?

• You earn 1 credit for every 10 hours of exercise.

• You earn 1 credit for every 15 hours of exercise.

• You can get credits by attending PE classes only.

• You need to submit a PE log with no parent signature required.
