VOICED : Montenegro invitado a integrar la OTAN

Montenegro has been invited to join NATO, becoming its 29th member. This decision, made unanimously by NATO's 28 diplomatic leaders, is part of the alliance's strategy to expand into the Balkans despite Russian opposition. Russia views this as an encroachment on its sphere of influence. Montenegro declared independence in 2006, ending its union with Serbia, a traditional ally of Moscow. The country has a small military force but has contributed troops to NATO missions. Montenegro's membership will be finalized after negotiations and ratification by NATO member parliaments in early 2016.
