In the late 1700s, most people worked on land they didn't own, while aristocrats lived in luxury. The Industrial Revolution brought innovations that changed work and life, with machines replacing hand tools and factories emerging. This led to urbanization, a new working class, and significant profits for industrialists. However, it also caused pollution, slums, and worker exploitation, including child labor. Reform movements eventually led to labor laws. Today, we are in a technological revolution, connecting globally and working flexibly.
