Two proposals were discussed: one by CARICOM and another by Peru, Canada, USA, Mexico, and Panama, which included demands like releasing political prisoners and halting the Constituent Assembly. Venezuela did not attend, and the required votes were not met. Despite the meeting's failure, OAS Secretary-General Luis Almagro stated Venezuela remains a priority, while Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodríguez claimed victory over Almagro and the opposition.
