VOICED : Unos 180 zapatistas parten del sur de México en viaje hacia Europa

A Zapatista delegation from Mexico is traveling to Vienna for an anti-capitalist meeting. The group includes 180 members of the EZLN, departing from Chiapas to Mexico City. A notable subgroup, La Extemporánea, consisting of 39 young Maya women, will replace Escuadrón 421 in Europe. The tour across 30 countries aims to address issues like feminicide, government projects, militarization, racism, and indigenous rights. The EZLN, led by Subcomandante Marcos, briefly took up arms in 1994, leading to a dialogue with the government.
