Colombian authorities intercepted a three-ton cocaine shipment intended for Central America, linked to the Clan Úsuga drug cartel. The cartel planned to route the drugs through Mexico to the US and other destinations. Investigations revealed the cartel's role in receiving and redistributing cocaine internationally. Police discovered a sophisticated lab in the jungle, arresting two individuals. The government is intensifying efforts against the cartel, capturing over 300 members, seizing 13 tons of cocaine, and destroying more than 50 drug labs.
