VOICED : Al menos 234 muertos o heridos por violencia entre pandillas en Haití entre 8 y 12 julio (ONU)

Between July 8 and 12, gang violence in Cite Soleil, Haiti, resulted in at least 234 casualties. The UN reported that most victims were not gang members but were attacked by them. There were also reports of sexual violence. From January to June 2022, there were 934 murders, 684 injuries, and 680 kidnappings. Despite ongoing violence, local police are unable to intervene due to limited resources.
