In Lost Lake, Indiana, Bill Haywood sets out to capture a legendary giant snapping turtle using a specially constructed trap. Despite the trap being destroyed by a massive turtle, Bill manages to catch nine large turtles, weighing a total of 208 pounds. The team weighs and examines each turtle, releasing them back into the lake. Although they didn't catch the world record turtle, the experience was thrilling, and they plan to return for another attempt. The video concludes with a teaser for a future expedition to Louisiana to find the alligator snapping turtle.
