Daniel Ortega was sworn in for his fourth term as Nicaragua's president, with his wife Rosario Murillo as vice president. He has strong support from the parliament, allowing him to pursue his agenda without obstacles. The inauguration was attended by international dignitaries. However, the opposition does not recognize the election results and plans to intensify their resistance against Ortega's government.
