VOICED : Marchas apoyan a campesinos

Farmers are struggling due to free trade agreements, currency appreciation, and insecurity from guerrillas and drug trafficking. Protests that began on August 19 with road blockades have led to at least five deaths. The Bogotá march started peacefully but ended in violent clashes with police near Plaza Bolívar.
