Hitoshi Nakata, a renowned Japanese footballer, is celebrated for his vision, passing skills, and dribbling. He began his career with Belmer Hiratsuku in 1997, winning the Asian Footballer of the Year award twice. Nakata played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup and joined Perugia Calcio, scoring 10 goals in his first season. He later played for AS Roma, becoming a CBA champion, and won the Coppa Italia with AC Parma.
