VOICED : Costa Rica se prepara para recibir al huracan Otto

Costa Rica is preparing for Hurricane Oto, which has strengthened and poses a threat to the Caribbean coast and northern towns. The hurricane is producing maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h and is located about 200 km from Limón. The government has declared a national emergency, closing public offices for two days, except those dealing with the hurricane. Private sector workers are also given time off. Residents are advised to avoid rivers, flood-prone areas, and landslide risks. Many are evacuating to Huapiles. The National Emergency Commission reports 165 communities affected and 40 isolated due to road damage and poor weather conditions.
