Three dissident deputies in Venezuela's Parliament formed a new faction and rejoined the opposition-majority legislature. They share strategic goals with chavistas but differ tactically. The Socialist Bloc joined an agreement to reject the Constituent Assembly election, despite the Supreme Court's contempt declaration against Parliament. Deputies Eustoquio Contreras and Germán Ferrer, husband of the Attorney General, were reincorporated, while Ivonne Tellez was absent but part of the bloc.
