More reliable Prostate Cancer test found

Scientists at the University of Surrey have discovered that prostate tumors produce a unique protein called EN2, detectable in urine. This new test is more accurate than the current PSA test, with a lower false positive rate. EN2 may also help track cancer progression, aiding in treatment decisions. The study, involving nearly 300 men, suggests that early detection significantly increases the chance of a cure. If further studies confirm these findings, the EN2 test could be widely available within a year.
