California Wildfires Massive But Not Deadliest In State History

Recent data from the AP indicates that while wildfires this year are not the deadliest, they have burned over 6200 square miles, an area the size of Connecticut, nearly tripling previous records. The average wildfire size in California has increased from under 50,000 acres to over 300,000 acres. This year, 31 people have died due to wildfires in California.
