Anansi the spider wants to learn fishing from Turtle but plans to trick him into doing all the work. Turtle, however, is wise to Anansi's tricks and lets Anansi do all the work while he pretends to get tired. After catching and cooking the fish, Turtle eats it all, leaving Anansi empty-handed. Anansi seeks justice from Warthog, who dismisses his complaint. In the end, Anansi learns to weave nets and shares this skill with others, leading to the creation of spider webs.
