Francesco Petrarca, born in 1304, was an influential figure in the Italian Renaissance. Initially studying law, he pursued his passion for literature, writing famous love poems inspired by Laura. He became a celebrated poet laureate and contributed to the Renaissance by rediscovering classical texts.
