Free Printable Number Comparison: More and Less Worksheets for Year 2

In 2nd Grade, number comparison skills expand to include three-digit numbers up to 1,000. Students learn to apply their understanding of place value (hundreds, tens, and ones) to determine which number is greater or less.

Teach students a systematic approach: first, compare the digits in the hundreds place. If they are the same, move to the tens place. If those are also the same, compare the ones place. Using place value charts can be a helpful visual tool to support this strategy.
