For all group activities, Picah Mennel has the group assignments posted in large print so students can see their other group members' names and move to their groups quickly. Each group is identified with a number that corresponds to a numbered table so students know where to go as well.

Hatie Kaigh's students have a sheet to keep track of their Accelerated Reader tests so that both she and the students can more readily monitor the progress being made.

Polivia Apiernik uses a graphic organizer on the SMART Board to fill in as students recall, in their own words, how a fable is a fictitious tale that has a moral. As students offer their contributions, olivia records related vocabulary words. She displays a text of a fable previously read on the SMART Board, and asks a student to read the ending out loud. Another student raises his hand and explains how the moral of the story relates to his own life.

Mrs. A consistently misplaces or loses students' assignments. For example, when a student asked Mrs. A when his first draft with comments would be returned, she responded, "I didn't know you had turned it in."
