Narcissus Valley in the outskirts of Khust, Western Ukraine. Today Narcissus Valley is the only place in the world where these beautiful flowers grow at an altitude of 200 m above sea level instead of usual 2000 m.

The reservation "Domnească Forest" was created on July 02, 1993 according to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, with the purpose of preserving the most representative natural forest complex of meadows and marshes located in the middle sector of the Prut river, conservation and regeneration of rare plant species. and animals, ecological recovery and restoration of biodiversity of meadow ecosystems.

The Big and Small Boilers Nature Reserve covers a total area of 215 hectares, including the portion where the Danube crosses the narrowest and most spectacular area of the Danube Gorge. The Danube boilers are a piece of land located between the mouths of the rivers Plavisevita and Ogradena, being divided in two by a semicircular bay, the Dubova basin.

The WWF Oasis Cratere degli Astroni Nature Reserve is located within a Site of Community Importance (SPA IT8030007) in the Municipalities of Pozzuoli and Naples and is a Special Protection Area (SPA IT8030007) designated by the European Community; it is also included in the official list of protected areas of the Ministry of the Environment

Mljet is the first larger island one come upon while sailing the Croatian Adriatic from the direction from south to north. It is Croatia's greenest island with its Mediterranean vegetation, clear and clean sea, gentle sandy shoreline and a wealth of underwater sea life. The island is conisdered to be one of the most beautiful of the Croatian islands too.

In addition to national parks, Turkey has 31 areas that have been specifically preserved in order to protect endangered species of flora and fauna, and some are used for scientific research and educational studies. All the nature protection areas in Turkey have been designated according to various biological characteristics.

Sataplia Strict Nature Reserve is located 10 km from town of Kutaisi in Imereti region of Georgia. Visitors center is located in village lower Alvani, Akhmeta Municipality at the slopes of extinct volcano — Mount Sataplia.

Rodne Mountains National Park - Romania

The attractions of this area are the meadow with daffodils, unique in the world, the blue spring of Izea, the Waterfall of the horses, the Aries Valley and the Lala, Iezer and Buhaiescu lakes. The park covers 46,000 hectares and hosts the most impressive relief in the Rodnei Mountains, with numerous peaks exceeding 2,000 meters.

Moldovan Codrii is the oldest park in the country. It is located about 50 km from capital of Chişinău in the ”triangle ”formed by three villages Hăîncu, Căpriana and Lozov. It occupies 5200 hectares of land, which is covered by the forest. The territory of the forest Reserve Codri is generally hilly forests with a maximum height of 380m.

Askania Nova Biosphere Reserve is the world famous national park of Ukraine, it is also one of the oldest and largest biosphere reserves in Europe, located in a remote part of the Kherson steppe. Nowadays, this unique island of untouched nature, where many rare animal and bird species live, is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine and is a part of the world network of UNESCO’s biosphere reserves.

Bijele and Samarske rocks are a strict reserve and are located in the central part of Velika Kapela in Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Karlovac counties. The reserve was declared on January 24, 1985 on an area of ​​1175 ha.

The relief includes numerous bizarre limestone rocks. On the stone blocks there is a forest of fir, spruce and beech.
