How to eat Papeda
Do you know what Papeda is? It’s special food from Papua.
Papeda is made from sago flour. It is as white as milk and its texture is like glue. It’s quite sticky. That’s why, we need two long wooden forks to serve Papeda. We have to roll the Papeda on the forks, to put on a plate. However, we must first pour vegetable soup on the plate, before we put the Papeda on top, otherwise it will stick to the plate.
