In HPE 8's Fitness unit, students must show proficiency at developing, implementing, and revising a personal plan to meet short- and long-term health-related fitness and physical activity goals. The homework one week is to keep a food log.

In AP Computer Science, students complete a coding project at the culmination of the unit which assesses their ability to perform the write and implement program code standard.

In AP Human Geography, students outlined a compare and contrast essay with a small group in class while developing proficiency on the standard "Write well-constructed essays and research reports."

In Ceramics II, students do a first draft sketch of a design for their pinch pot while working on the "Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work" standard.

In Music 8, students perform a concert at the end of the semester demonstrating their skill.

In Pre-AP English 1, students participate in peer review and the teacher observes, providing feedback on the standard "prepare for and participate effectively in a range of conversations and collaborations with diverse partners."

In STEM 8, students complete a lab and submit a report to demonstrate their performance on the standard "students will develop and use models, analyze and interpret data, and construct explanations."

In Chinese 11, students submit a final draft of their analysis essay.

In Design Thinking, students create a final design from two previous prototypes after meeting with their "client" for feedback to demonstrate their skill at defining problems, developing possible solutions, and improving designs after testing.
