若有无可指责的人, 只作一个妇人的丈夫, 儿女也是信主的, 没有人告他们放荡, 不受约束。这是选立“长老的资格”。 If anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or insubordination.

又要劝年轻的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人。 Young women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good.

要劝仆人顺服自己的主人，凡事讨他的喜悦，不可顶撞他, 不可私窃财物；要凡事显出完美的忠诚，好事事都能荣耀我们救主上帝的教导。 Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.

保罗提醒提摩太说：“你要提醒众人，叫他们顺服执政的、掌权的，要服从，预备行各样善事。” Paul reminded Timothy to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.

分门结党的人，警戒过一两次后就要拒绝跟他来往；因为这样的人已经背道，常常犯罪，自己定自己的罪了。 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

基督徒也该学习行善, 帮助有迫切需要的人, 这样才会结果子。Christians need to learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.

保罗写信对提多说：“在祷告中记念你的时候，常为你感谢我的上帝，因听说你对众圣徒的爱心，和你对主耶稣的信心。” Paul wrote a letter to Timothy: ” thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.”

保罗本来有意将腓利门留下，在他为福音所受的捆锁中替提多伺候他。 Paul would have been glad to keep Philemon with him, in order that he might serve him on his behalf during his imprisonment for the gospel.

腓利门书共有25节。 There is a total of 25 verses in the book of Philemon.

这些事你要讲明，要充分运用你的职权劝勉人，责备人。不要让任何人轻看你。(“你” 是指什么人？) Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you. Who does ‘you’ refer to?

我们从前也是无知、悖逆、受迷惑，作各样私欲和宴乐的奴隶，在恶毒、嫉妒中度日，是可恨的，而且彼此相恨。“我们“ 是指谁？ For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. Who does ‘we’ refers to ?
