Czasu Present Perfect użyjemy do opisania
czynności, które wydarzyły się w niedalekiej przeszłości, zaś skutki są nadal widoczne w teraźniejszości
czynności, które się dokonały, ale czas jeszcze się nie zakończył
mówimy o osobach zmarłych, które już nie mogą wykonać żadnej czynności
opisujemy czynność, która już się wydarzyła
Czasu Present Perfect użyjemy do opisania:
Opisy doświadczeń życiowych (nie dotyczy osób, które już nie żyją)
Czas Present Perfect opisuje czynność wciąż wykonywaną w trwającym nadal okresie czasu (np. today, this week/ month/ year).
gdy zaczynamy zdanie od słówka when – kiedy, a tym samym oczekujemy odpowiedzi z konkretnym określnikiem czasu w czasie przeszłym
mówimy o osobach zmarłych, które już nie mogą wykonać żadnej czynności
W czasie Present Perfect nie określamy dokładnie kiedy czynność miała miejsce (jak w czasie przeszłym Past Simple). Najczęściej stosujemy poniższe wyrażenia:
