Load factor is important as it been proven that the load factor increases on a bank, in other words, higher air loads act on the aircraft structure. So the aircraft designers have used load factor as a safety parameter to define the aircraft operating envelope.

For the majority of drones, the limit load factor is 4.4 Gs. This means that the aircraft is certified to withstand up to 4.4 Gs without fear of structural failure ( G = Acceleration due to gravity)
