All the types of government can be classified in two ways: Authoritarian governments or Democratic governments.

In the following slides, I will give you a scenario and I want you to try and figure out what type of government is being used. It could be more than one.

Switzerland: Citizens elect representatives to sit in two different law making assemblies. But citizens also directly vote several times a year to decide on laws. Citizens can vote to propose their own laws or undo laws passed by their representatives. All citizens may vote directly on these laws.
