  • If someone asks you if you like something, you respond either yes or no. For example: Yes, I like to swim or No, I don't like to swim.

  • To say yes, you simply put sí at the beginning of the sentence.

But why are there two no's?

  • In English, we say "no, I don't like".

  • So the second no in Spanish is like saying "don't".
