FFA Emblem

Each part of the emblem has a special meaning to it.

Cross section of corn

The circle around the emblem means unity, because it is grown in every state.

Rising sun

It means progress. There is always a new day coming.

Owl

It means wisdom and knowledge.

Eagle

It means freedom.

1. Discovery degree
2. Greenland degree
3. Chapter degree
4. State degree
5. American degree (not national)

Degree Pins

*only 3 can be worn on FFA jacket at a time

• Greenhand = bronze pin

• Chapter = silver pin

• State = gold charm

• American = gold key

4 Types of Membership

• Active = enrolled on ag class

• Colligate = 2 or 4 year college

• Alumni = former members

• Honorary = people who support FFA
