--scorn or dislike
Think about court... if you're held in contempt, you're disliked or in trouble with the judge.
Think about the word "temp" -- maybe it reminds you of another word... TEMPer?!

-- sense of right or wrong
morals = doing the right thing/having integrity

remorse
-- deep, torturing sense of guilt
remorse is usually associated with regret
(when you regret something, you often feel guilty about it, right?)

--doubting one's motives or actions
If someone is known as "cynical," they are typically skeptical of everyone. They often suspect things are done with ulterior motives.

You often hear people say, "that's not relevant/irrelevant." Just think of the opposite. If it's not relevant, it doesn't pertain to the subject at hand. If it is relevant, then it DOES MATTER.

Do you know the word ambiguous? Ambiguity? It means there is more than one way to think about something. It's unclear. AMBI... they have in common...
