In the early 2000's scientists discovered a common language of 24 character strengths that make up what’s best about our personality.

​

Everyone possesses all 24 character strengths in different degrees, so each person has a truly unique character strengths profile.

​

Who did what and when?

​

Over three years, Peterson and Seligman (2004) explored what personal strengths might look like and came up with a list of 24 core strengths. They referred to these as Character Strengths and concluded:

These 24 strengths are evident across human history and cultures across the world. Each of the 24 strengths exists in all of us to varying degrees.
