Giving Thanks
Squanto, a Native American, spoke English and introduced the Pilgrims to Massasoit
The Wampanoag leader and William Bradford agreed to live in peace
Squanto taught the Pilgrims how to farm, fish, and hunt in the area.
The pilgrims soon became successful with plenty of food, and supplies from new settlers.
Held a feast thanking God for the harvest, or having a party to celebrate the battle with the rival tribe
