Describe how the deserts and rivers of Southwest Asia impact trade and where people live:

Sample:
Deserts and rivers in Southwest Asia play a huge role in where people live and how they trade. Much of Southwest Asia is desert and lacks the water necessary to support large human populations. Sandy terrain makes trade almost impossible in a desert. Rivers are necessary for human survival. Rivers provide drinking water, bathing water, water for agriculture and much more!

In the continuing Palestinian- Israeli conflicts, both groups have a religious and historical connection to the land. Both Jews and Muslims believe that God gave them rights to the land. Palestinian-Arabs were unhappy with the loss of land and creation of Israel for the Jews in 1948. This has been a source of continual conflict.
