Cost of Living Task

Your task is to 'buy' yourself enough food to last a day. If you have enough money left at the end of the day you will be able to have a ‘treat’!
25
Research Task
Use supermarket websites (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, and Morrison’s etc) to 'buy' yourself food for the day. The rules are:
1. You have a maximum of £10 to spend.
2. A well balanced diet is required, including a range of vitamins and minerals, so at least 5 portions of fruit/vegetables are required.
3. You are not allowed to buy ready meals. You need to make the meals yourself.
Write down what you have chosen to have for each meal. (Example on the next slide). Also write down the cost of each item.
This information will be used for a spreadsheet task later.
