  • Fraction- a numerical quantity that is not a whole number (e.g. 1/2, 0.5). or a small or tiny part, amount of something.

  • Whole numbers- Any of the numbers {0, 1, 2, 3, ...} etc.


    There is no fractional or decimal part. And no negatives.


    Example: 5, 49 and 980 are all whole numbers.

  • Product-The answer when two or more values (factors) are multiplied together.

  • Simplify-To simplify (or reduce) a fraction means to make it as simple as possible.
