“Me, Earl and the Dying Girl” is a hugely successful comedy film about a relationship that becomes a race (1) ______________. Greg's mother gives him the unenviable task of befriending Rachel and trying to 'cheer her up' after she's been diagnosed with an incurable disease. But since Rachel is living (2) ______________, she doesn't want to waste her last days hanging around with a boy whom she hardly knows.
