Being Responsible

• As you get older we take on more responsibility

• School is more than just school work

• Deadlines

• Problem Solving

• Critical Thinking

• You are graded on your responsibilities

Not being responsible

• Sometimes we don't want responsible

• But we don't want restrictions

• Things get overwhelming

• You can put yourself down

• Feel like you are in trouble

Take responsibility

• Make small steps

• Get rid of distractions

• Write things down (list)

• Don't give up

• Know that you did it for yourself

Story

• Rocky is a boxer (fighter)

• He's getting older

• He lost his wife to cancer

• He wants to fight again

He has a son

• His son isn't doing well at work

• His son blames Rocky for his failure

• His son feels like he is overshadowed

• His son doesn't want to accept responsibility

Rocky explains

• Life isn't fair

• Don't fight people, but fight through life

• Believe in yourself

• There are people who want you succeed
