Is used to compare one thing to something else in order to get a point across.
ex. The student is smarter than than his teacher.
ex. Ronnie is as fast as a cheetah.

Unequal comparisons-
He is smarter than his teacher.
Equal comparisons-
She is as fast as a cheetah.

Unequal- Adjectives
Formula for unequal comparisons with adjectives-
más + adjective + que
El estudiante es más inteligente que su maestro.
OR
Lucy es más alta que Susan.

Unequal - Adverbs
Formula for unequal comparisons with adverbs-
más + adverb + que
Alberto trabaja más rapidamente que Ramon.
OR
Jose conduce más cuidadosamente que Sabrina.

Irregular adjectives-
better= mejor( NOT más bueno)
worse= peor( NOT más malo)
younger=menor
