Lesson 3.3: The breathing muscle

Everyday we should thank God, because of Him we are alive.

THE BREATHING MUSCLE

Below the rib cage is your diaphragm, a flat sheet of skeletal muscle which separates the chest cavity from the abdominal cavity.

Movements keep you alive

• Breathing is doing by Nerves, which send out messages to the diaphragm and the muscles of the chest.

• When we Inhale the diaphragm contracts and moves downward.

• When we Exhale the diaphragm relaxes and moves upword.

Keeping your lungs heathy

God designed our lungs to exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air and the blood is the major purpoose of the respitatory system, that´s why we should practice good habits to take care our lungs.

Becoming physically fit

Exercise improves your respiration and help our lungs to eliminate body waste.

Your physical fitness can be determined by how you feel when you get up in the morning, this physical fitness helps you do active things every day.
