Examples of Complex Sentences

• Martin and Nick will go to the waterpark unless there is a thunderstorm.

• Since we want to go on vacation this summer, my family made a budget to save money.

• You can wrap the cakes and pies and deliver them after they are baked.

Punctuation in Complex Sentences

• If the sentence starts with the subordinating conjunction, a comma will follow that clause
