Examples of Complex Sentences
Martin and Nick will go to the waterpark unless there is a thunderstorm.

Punctuation in Complex Sentences
If the sentence starts with the subordinating conjunction, a comma will follow that clause
Example: After the game, we will go buy ice cream.
