Exam info
The exam will be open from Monday 4/5 at 8am to Wednesday 4/7 at 5pm
You will have 75 minutes to take the exam
The exam is open note, open book; however, you should consider your notes and book to be a quick reference -you will not have time to look up every single answer
You need to take the exam on your own; do not take the exam with anyone else or discuss questions and answers with anyone else
The exam format will be similar to the first one

Exam tips
Look through the exam first before starting to get an idea of the questions you'll be answering
Do not leave answers blank! There's a good chance you'll get at least a point or two if you make an educated guess, but if it's blank it's not possible to receive more than zero points
Look for indicators in questions like bolded or capitalized words. For example, any question that has the word NOT in it will have the word in bold or capitalized. Questions like that are sometimes unavoidable and the best way to ask the question, but they will have indicators in them to make them stand out
6
seriously, don't leave answers blank.

Exam tips
Questions and/or answers that are lengthier or wordier are an indication that the question is a harder one. If you aren't sure right away, skip it and come back to it later after you've answered some of the quicker question
Short answer or long answer questions may have more than one part to them -be sure you are answering every part of the question
Be sure to answer questions thoroughly, but don't "over-answer" either. If it says one to two sentences, you really only need one to two sentences

Review activity
Work your way through as many of the clues and locks as you can
If you don't know all the answers that's fine, or if you don't finish everything that's fine. As long as you put effort into completing as much as you can you'll receive the participation points
If you have any technical difficulties let me know asap

Final notes
15
Final notes
There will be no reading quiz or check-in for next week; focus on completing the review activity and studying
There will be a spreadsheet posted on Blackboard in the Syllabus tab. You can enter the points you already have in the class and see how many points you still need in order to earn the grade you want
If you have any questions or concerns about grades in the gradebook let me know asap. This is especially true for participation points -there are some in-class activities that only had a nickname on them so I did not know who to give the points for them
