1. Relative Clauses

  • Defining RC give essential information about a noun and it is necessary.

  • Relative Pronoun for person = who/that; thing = which/that; place = where; possession = whose; time = when

  • Non defining RC give extra information about a noun. It is not necessary and has comma.

  • we can't use "that" and cannot omit relative pronoun in non defining rc.

2. Reported Speech
