1. Relative Clauses
Defining RC give essential information about a noun and it is necessary.
Relative Pronoun for person = who/that; thing = which/that; place = where; possession = whose; time = when
Non defining RC give extra information about a noun. It is not necessary and has comma.
we can't use "that" and cannot omit relative pronoun in non defining rc.

2. Reported Speech
When we report what people said or thought in the past, we usually change the tenses, pronoun, possessive, and time/place.
